Ecovision was established for a few reasons:

The need for permanent cameras in remote locations where power is a problem;
The need for low/no maintenance cameras “in the middle of nowhere”;
The need for greener technology in line with global targets for lowering carbon emissions;
The lack of mission critical products specifically designed for problematic power areas;
The increase/presence of criminal activity in desolate and remote areas;
The passion for remote views of wildlife areas not accessible to the public;

Important reasons to use ecovision are:

We know what we’re doing,  This is all we do, it’s our speciality and we do it day-in, day-out.  We’re not trying to be everything to everyone, so our time is spent wisely.  We know our products won’t replace many cameras in a lot of locations where mains power is easily accessible, but for those areas where it costs more to dig up the road, duct and cable than it does for our whole complete product self powered and ready to go... ecovision is the perfect solution.

We also provide expert advice and calculations to manufacturers, product developers who wish to try to develop a renewable energy powered version of their product.  Previously this would have meant them dealing with a number of companies, but now they can deal with one... ecovision ltd.
